Charnette Fair Name: Charnette Fair Age: 27 Stats: 6'0, 172 lbs Birthplace: Chesterfield, SC Current Residence: Hawthorne, CA Education: Montclair High School Graduated 1997, Cal State San Bernardino Graduated 2004 with BA in Sociology. Accolades: Charnette attended Montclair high school where she competed on the volleyball, basketball and track team. She broke school track records in Triple and High jump while competing for Montclair High. Charnette also claimed many awards and accolades in basketball, such as Inland Empire Player of the week and team MVP. Though basketball was "Nette"'s first love, she received a scholarship to play volleyball in college. Her first year of collegiate volleyball was at College of Southern Idaho where she was an All-American and led her team to a national championship. She transferred to Golden West College, again being named All-American and helping her team win the state championship. Before she transferred to the University of Minnesota she was part of the USA National Volleyball Team Training Program. She spent her last two years of college at the University of Minnesota, leaving the school with the highest career attack percentage and best single season blocks total. Following graduation, Nette was on the U.S. National Team in 2001, and played professionally in both Spain and Finland. Nette is now competing on the Pro Beach Volleyball AVP Tour.
